Our location is ideal for exploring Kent, the traditional seaside towns and beaches of the north Kent coast are only minutes away.  There are a wide range of local amenities close by including many pubs, restaurants, sports facilities and golf courses. 

We are an excellent base for walkers and cyclists being near the North Downs Way and close to many signed walking and cycling routes. 

County cricket at Canterbury, horse racing at Folkestone Racecourse,  motor racing at Lydden and Brands Hatch, all welcome spectators.

Sandwich has its own cinema as do Deal and Canterbury.  Local theatres include the Marlowe and the Gulbenkian in Canterbury, the Astor in Deal and the Winter Gardens in Margate.
